Its was a feeling of gried and loneliness parents may feel when their children leave home for the first time, such as attending college. In the last decade, the so called “Boomerang Generation”, where young adults who return to live with their parents, have changed the traditional empty nest dynamics. We designed this nest feeling to symbolic a home for a family. The angular backrest appearance showing the grief and the loneliness how the parents feel. Also, joined different materials to give a simple yet sturdy finishes looking. It also gives a hard to soft appearance. The concept here is Boomerang. It was inspired by a curved flat piece of wood that can be thrown. It also returns to where it was sent from. The form and shape was applied to the furniture itself.
